In 2001, the first multisite campus launched at Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago, using video to share the teaching across campuses.

Jim Tomberlin was there to be a part of this shift in how we think and do church in America today. And he’s remained a leading participant in the development of the church multisite movement, consulting and coaching churches in developing and implementing multi-campus strategies since 2005.

In the following video resource, Jim shares from his vast experience, outlining several best practices of the church multisite model, including:

  • When to Expand
  • Where to Expand
  • How to Teach Across Campuses
  • Role of the Church Family

"Jim Tomberlin was a huge asset to us during our recent move to multisite. His experience and expertise helped us navigate our staff and church through a church merger and greatly assisted us in the union of two churches. I highly recommend Jim to anyone prayerfully considering either mergers or multisite churches."

His insight, strategy, and understanding of what it takes to be a healthy church was huge to us as we began this new journey. Since partnering with Jim, we’ve gone from one church meeting in a single location, to five campuses meeting throughout Wisconsin."
